Soumya Sarkar is a cricketer of Bangladesh. Born 25 February 1993,soumya sarkar age is 30 years as on 2023. Soumya Sarkar is a left-handed batsman and a right arm medium fast bowler. He is an opening batsman and a wicket taking bowler. He is the only batsman to hit 2 sixes in the first over in a T20 World Cup match and the second highest individual run-scorer for Bangladesh in an ODI innings. Sarkar is a member of the Cumilla Warriors in the Bangladesh Premier League, Khulna Division in the National Cricket League, and also a player of Prime Bank Cricket Club in the Dhaka Premier Division. In Bangladesh Premier League he participated for Dhaka Dominators. Soumya Sarkar Religion is Bengali Hindu. Soumya Sarkar Wife is Priyonti Debnath Puja, he married his girlfriend in february 2020. The marriage ceremony was held at Khulna Club. His wife is the daughter of Gopal Debnath of Tutpara presently in Khulna Division.
