God's Own Country's Chicken Perattu is a delicious Christmas dish.This is a traditional dish, and I am fortunate to have received the original from my grandmother. The only change is that we make it on a gas burner, whereas the original meal was made on a 'aduppu'. Another unique feature was the use of locally available country chicken in the preparation of the dish. It is recommended to use country chickens if they are accessible in your area.
