Application Requirements to Study in Australia

Unlike the UK or parts of Canada, you will apply to Australian universities directly. Each university, and at a more granular level each program, will have its own application requirements. Be sure to look into these carefully, either through independent research or with the help of study abroad consultants online or offline. Keep an eye on the application deadline – you don’t want to cut it too close to this date for your submission. Universities may accept applications on a first-come, first-serve basis – you don’t want to miss your shot by submitting too late.

A typical application checklist for an Australian university degree will include:

· Application forms

· Academic transcripts and certificates

· Proof of English proficiency (e.g., English language test scores)

· Other test scores (e.g., for the GMAT or GRE General Test)

· Proof of identity

· Statement of purpose

· Letters of recommendation

· Application fee
