Yashasvi Jaiswal is an Indian cricketer who was born on December 28, 2001, in Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh. He is a left-handed batsman and a left-arm orthodox spinner. Jaiswal first came into the spotlight during the 2019-20 Vijay Hazare Trophy when he became the youngest batsman to score a double century in List A cricket.

Jaiswal's family faced financial struggles, and at the age of 11, he moved to Mumbai to pursue his cricketing dream. He started playing cricket in the Azad Maidan in Mumbai, where he used to sleep in tents along with other aspiring cricketers.
