Dr. Nikhil Parikh has over 27-years of experience as a cardiac practitioner. Dr. Parikh has performed over 25000 diagnostic angiographies, 1500 balloon valvuloplasties, and 7000 coronary angioplasties and over 250 peripheral angioplasties. He was the 1st person in the state to implant a stent. He has also performed more than 200 pediatric interventions including closure of PDA and ASD by device (& was the first doctor in Rajasthan to perform device closure therapy). Dr. Nikhil Parikh has performed more than 900 pacemaker implantation (Single and Dual Chamber, AICD, CRT) and is also an expert in Embolization Therapy (Renal and Bronchial Artery). He is also performing peripheral angioplasties (Renal, Subclavian, Carotid, and Lower Limb Arteries)
Passionate about teaching too, he is one of the very few doctors dedicated to guide and impart medical education to budding cardiologists and physicians, His contributions to cardiology education in the state at various positions include – Graduate and Post Graduate Teacher at RNT Medical College, Udaipur, Graduate and Post Graduate Teacher in GSVM Medical College, Kanpur, Post Graduate Teacher for ONB Medicine Students at SDM Hospital, Jaipur. He was also a Teacher and Guide for DNB students in Cardiology at SDM Hospital, Jaipur, since July 2003. He has organized and conducted more than 500 CME’s on various aspects of Cardiology all over the state of Rajasthan & Hariyana.
